My beloved spoke and said to me,
“Arise, my darling,
my beautiful one, come with me.
See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming vines
spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
my beautiful one, come with me.”

Yesterday, as we finally took a breather to have lunch, we couldn’t help but comment that we felt something was stirring in the heart of iloilo. Ayen said “Feels like we have been more productive in the last few weeks than in the last few months!”
It’s been a funny feeling. We are exhausted, overwhelmed, yet excited and motivated all at the same time. We see the vision and we keep running. We go home tired, but wake up the next day and do it all over again. We are consumed with purpose and passion.
Yet in the midst of all the busyness,
there’s something that draws us more.
It’s the call of Our Beloved.
Every moment we get, we can’t help but run into His presence. And for me, there’s nothing else that makes me smile more than to see my team resting in the prayer room. Because even if all else fails, I know we got one thing right – we got his presence.
For in His Presence,
We Come Alive.
One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
We are nothing without him.
So wake up my beloved.
Wake up! City of Love.
